These terms describe the basic conditions for using the XMR Labs Monero Wallet.
These terms are a product document, not legal or financial advice. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
1. Provider and scope
The app is provided by XMR Labs Inc.. Questions can be sent to contact@xmrlabs.org. These terms apply to your use of the XMR Labs Monero Wallet and do not replace the terms of Google Play or other distribution platforms.
2. What the app provides
The app is a non-custodial software wallet for local management of Monero (XMR). XMR Labs does not hold your funds, control your private keys, operate an exchange, or restore a lost recovery seed. The app connects to a Monero node for synchronization and submits transactions only after you confirm them.
3. Your wallet and transactions
- You are responsible for your device, PIN, wallet credentials, and recovery seed.
- Before confirming a transaction, verify the recipient address, amount, and fee.
- Confirmed Monero transactions are generally irreversible.
- Loss of the recovery seed, wallet file, or device access may cause permanent loss of funds.
- Remote node operators can affect availability and privacy. Choose a node you trust.
4. Third-party services
Monero nodes, internet providers, and Android services are independent systems. They may have their own terms, outages, logging, and privacy policies. XMR Labs does not guarantee their availability or operation.
5. Risks and availability
Cryptocurrency use involves technical, market, regulatory, network, malware, and user-error risks. The app is provided to support wallet use, but it cannot guarantee uninterrupted synchronization, transaction confirmation, network availability, or preservation of funds.
6. Lawful use
Use the app only in accordance with applicable law. Do not bypass security controls, disrupt the app or connected systems, or use the app to infringe the rights of others.
7. Updates and termination
You may stop using the app at any time. Updates may change features or correct security issues. Back up your recovery seed before changing devices or removing app data.
